PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
After receiving a Masters from Columbia University and completing three years of doctoral studies at New York University, Mr. Zimney taught at Rutgers University and worked for six years as an Industrial Psychological Consultant.

In 1971, Mr. Zimney joined Yankelovich, Skelly and White, Inc., where he last headed the Human Resource Group, and was responsible for all employee relations and communications research projects. During this phase of his tenure with YS&W, Mr. Zimney created the application of YS&W's unique marketing research methodologies to the study of people at work.   Prior to developing the firm's thrust into the human resources arena, Mr. Zimney was responsible for the custom research group of YS&W. In this capacity he designed and implemented a wide variety of industrial, consumer marketing, customer satisfaction, corporate identity, segmentation and strategy planning studies. His election to the Operating Committee of Yankelovich in 1977 provided experience in the development of basic strategy and operations for all of YS&W Inc.

In 1983, YS&W acquired McBer and Company, a Boston-based HR research and consulting firm. In order to facilitate the integration of YS&W and McBer's HR businesses, and to broaden the scope of McBer's consulting capabilities, Mr. Zimney moved to McBer as Senior Vice President and Officer of the firm, where he specialized in organizational assessment and design, employee attitudes, values and communication research, and organizational change dynamics.

Mr. Zimney formed his own company, Stephen A. Zimney Associates, in 1987.
